曾任中国医学科学院皮肤病医院(皮肤病研究所)主任医师, 教授和博士研究生导师；广东省皮肤病医院（广东省皮肤病性病防治研究中心）主任医师；江苏大学附属医院皮肤科主任医师。擅长诊治免疫性皮肤病如皮肌炎、硬皮病、红斑狼疮、天疱疹、类天疱疹等自身免疫反应，过敏性皮肤病如荨麻疹、湿疹、药疹、痒疹等变态反应，银屑病、副银屑病、无菌性脓包病等自身炎症性皮肤病，白癜风，炎症后色素减退或色素沉着等色素性皮肤病，以及一些少见的角化性皮肤病。

曾先后获得医科院科研基金、卫生部科研基金、教育部高校博士点基金、江苏省卫生厅“135医学重点人才” 项目、江苏省人事厅“三大人才高峰”项目、江苏省自然科学基金、国家自然科学基金等课题资助。

发表论文约50余篇,参与撰写专业著作多部。多次在国际会议上交流论文。
